Traveling On I-40

Diversity. If you have been to the U.S., you know how diverse the scenery can be. Sometimes I try to imagine what it would have been like to be a pioneer discovering the lands for the first time. What thoughts would have flowed me as I left Missouri, rode the plains of Oklahoma and Texas, and arrive upon the mountains for the Great Divide? I think my heart would have sank, and my adventurous spirit would have surrendered to timidity. I am glad I am not a pioneer.
